Andy is an East London entrepreneur and traveller. He’s an impresario with fingers in many pies, his cocktail bar, Happiness Forgets, was recently voted GQ Magazine’s UK Best Bar, and regularly features in World’s Best Bar Top 10. Whilst his ‘proper pub’ called Chesham Arms has just won CAMRA East London pub of the year. The latest venture Fanny Nelsons, has seen him transform a shut down 1830s London boozer to it’s former glory with an updated food and drink offer. And 2016 has seen him take a leap into restaurants, with a new french bistro opening in Hoxton Square. And coming soon… a taco concept called Paradise Taco’s.

Travel is a key part of Andy’s work allowing him to experience new cultures and create bar and food concepts. His influences come from street markets in Jerusalem, crab shacks in Cornwall, or road side diners in California (and tacos wherever he can find them).

Last year saw him visiting Tel Aviv, Greece, Portugal, America (twice), Berlin, Munich, Paris, and a few others! With Japan, New Orleans, an South Italian driving trip and Hong Kong all lined up this year.

And never say never… he’d one day like to do his own hotel.
