Sara is a London based travel writer and editor, although recently she spent time living and working in Copenhagen, a place she sees as her second home. She began her travel career launching the travel sections of ELLE UK.com and Red Online and via a stint as a content strategist for Virgin Holidays and as a contributing editor for The Travel Edit is now freelance.

Sara writes travel features for Independent, The Telegraph, Guardian, Waitrose, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, ELLE, Red and more and has created branded content for everyone from Visit Denmark and Visit Australia to Thomson Travel. She loves nothing more than exploring a new country and her travel highlights have taken her hotel reviewing across the world, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, skydiving and stargazing in New Zealand, northern light chasing in Greenland, lion spotting in Zambia, walking the Great Wall of China and goulash eating in Russia.

Additionally, Sara launched her own ceramics business, Part-time Potter three years ago and can regularly be found making hand-built pots in the studio and exhibiting her work in London and Paris.
