W Hotel, London

Best Known For
When W first hit the hotel scene in NYC it was met with much love and created an experience that you couldn’t find in many other places. Over the years the scene has changed and W with it. Evolution in a market place is key, it drives demand and encourages the public to feel as though hotels are in fact in tune with their feelings and demographic changes.

The Good Stuff
W London of Starwood Hotels fame is listening. This hotel offers its customers exactly what they want. A place to call home in work and play. The hotel offers a room for every one of your whims – party, play, work, relax and yes, sleep! The hotel feels much like London in a sense offering you a cosmopolitan slice of the city’s action. Keep an eye on the slick penthouse, it’s too good. The gym offers you a view of the city you’ve never seen before, whilst the bar gives you a pretty sweet view in London’s finest film premieres. The Eclipse ventures bar Wyld, is one to look out for.

The Vibe
This is a hotel for leisure and pleasure… It has a creative crowd and a great bar open all day, serving as quite the office. Truth is, thanks to W you can now find this brand of sought after experience in cities, retreats and idyllic spots, around the globe. That said, I think my personal favourite lives in LA.

Inside the hotel – 7/10
Features in the hotel offer work and play angles, along with a gym boasting the finest view in Soho. Further to this you can find Spice Market restaurant from superstar chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten as well as the Boujis/ Eclipse partnership of Wyld and of course the W lounge, which is also a sure fire hit for spectators.

Outside the hotel 8/10
You’re in Soho/ Leicester Square and Chinatown borders, so you’re within reach of anything you might desire. Rumours at this time, Alan Yau’s is about to drop something rather special just up the road. You’re also very nearby a Hawksmoor, which is never ever a bad thing.
