Prior to Central Working and at 29, James was the youngest ever Managing Director of a Virgin business, running Virgin Student, one of the earliest social networking sites in the UK. In 2005 James established The Lounge Group a marketing agency with offices in the UK, Spain and Turkey.
In 2006, James established Escape Airports Limited, which was a new concept in luxury airport lounges. The following year he was cited for his ‘sheer bravery and guts’ in the list of “Top 30 Under 35 UK Entrepreneurs” compiled by Growing Business Magazine.
