Lucy Goddard is Creative Director and co-founder of NoChintz, an interior and branding studio based in Manchester. Starting her career at Harvey Nichols, she has since overseen the growth of NoChintz into the multi-award winning studio it is today – one that just opened it’s first coffee house, Foundation, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Naturally, as a hotel designer, she loves to travel, first catching the bug when her brother moved to Cambodia and she was able to experience different cultures growing up. Despite occasionally driving her husband mad by dragging him around ‘interesting concepts’ that are not always so interesting, she is excited to instil the appetite for adventure in her young family – going behind the scenes whenever she can, to understand the sometimes intangible elements that make a hotel experience heartfelt.
