What else is there to say about LA? A City that captures culture, lifestyle and hedonism all at once – and no better place for Sam Nazarian’s first SLS Hotel. This hotel will make you feel like you’re on the set of popular TV show Entourage, and with good reason, because you are.
The Good Stuff
Simply imagine Phillipe Starck with bold colour, fresh design and you’ll have SLS. The staff tend to your every need and you’ll never be short of place to relax and take in LA. The ground floor is engaging and spacious and the rooftop is out of this world – featuring a stunning swimming pool, cabana’s and a pretty lively bar. You can even use the Starck designed private car to take you wherever you wish to go, which in LA is pretty much anywhere. The restaurant, The Bazaar by José Andrés, is suitably LA with a menu just for bottled water – the restaurant is fun and new tapas concept that really takes you on a journey, it is also suitably named.
The Vibe
So, if you’re looking for something that gives you an all LA immersive experience, then book yourself into a place where as they say, “Something Lovely has Started” – SLS.
Inside the hotel – 9/10
It is beautiful, almost as though Starck is in living colour with a hint of old school luxury.
Outside the hotel – 8/10
On the far side of Beverly Hills, but not matter, just jump in the Starck mobile and you’ll be at Jack n Jills in no time.
