Best Known For
A design led serviced apartment concept with the feel of a hotel, and the heart of a home. Aimed at travellers looking for an authentic neighbourhood experience. From the mind of THC Engineer Matthew Grzywinski of Grzywinski + Pons Architects.
The Good Stuff
Aside from great design, generous suite sizes and near perfect service, the space offers a range of cultural programming, from craft beer education to cooking courses, complimentary wellness programming such as yoga and mindfulness, a 24hour gym and an eatery by Treves & Hyde which will carry you from breakfast and into the night.
The Vibe
Casual, inviting, and pretty damn cool. A place to sleep, work, eat and play. Somewhere to connect with locals and other like-minded guests.
Inside the Hotel – 10/10
Impeccable, well thought out design. The first place I’ve stayed in a long time with hooks in the right places and functionality not forgone for design. The suites have been designed to revolve around an L-shaped sofa, not the bed, providing a space to live rather than just sleep. With Kinsley Apothecary natural products in the bathrooms, organic complimentary chocolate in the fully equipped kitchen, great quality linen and fast Wi-Fi, it has pretty much everything you need. Exposed concrete finishes pared with a soft pastel colourway and killer views over the city – it’s ‘instagramability’ rating is high!
Outside the Hotel – 9/10
On the doorstep of Aldgate East tube station and in the heart of East London, this is my favourite part of town. Within minutes of Spitalfields , Brick Lane and Shoreditch’s creative offering, the vast choice of food, shopping and galleries make it perfectly placed.
