The Wynn, Las Vegas

Best Known For
This curved gleaming bronze hotel remains the most sought after in the town, pure luxury done very, very well. Located at the ‘quieter’ end of the strip with the great Fashion Show Mall nearby, there’s no shortage of things to do. The Wynn in Vegas boasts high-end shops, several restaurants and bars, shows, nightclubs and of course the casino. In my opinion, no other hotel on the strip can match its opulence and quality.

The Good Stuff
The Wynn is possibly one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. Although it’s been years since my visit I can still remember so many details. From the most sumptuous bed, like being enveloped in clouds, softly scented lemon Wynn branded toiletries, a super-deep bath complete with a TV on the wall to keep me company. Another memory engrained in my brain is the sultry smooth voice of owner Steve Wynn, which is softly piped from the suite’s TV, it even appears on adverts inside the local taxis. This man should do hypnosis. After a day wandering the strip the haven of our room was a welcome relief, it was just a standard deluxe, the most basic they offer, it was anything but. God only knows how incredible the top suites are, where the rich and famous stay.

The Vibe
After a day wandering the strip the haven of our room was a welcome relief, it was just a standard deluxe, the most basic they offer, it was anything but.  I bought home my Wynn slippers which lasted me over five years until they finally perished. I tweeted the hotel and within a week a brand new pair arrived. Now that’s service. We recently revisited Vegas and my biggest regret was not staying here again.

Inside the hotel – 10/10
Incredible rooms, stunning pool, luxurious in every way with extremely high standards.

Outside the hotel – 9/10
Away from the cheaper resorts and the main hustle and bustle, everything on your doorstep.
